Role Overview

The Head of Integrated Risk Management and Credit Risk Reporting is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and overseeing critical risk management frameworks within the Strategic Risk Management Division. This role involves managing risk across multiple dimensions, including risk strategy, integrated reporting, ICAAP (Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process), stress testing, Expected Credit Loss (ECL) policies and processes, RWA (Risk-Weighted Assets) calculations, and risk planning. As a key player in the organization's risk management strategy, the role requires a blend of technical expertise in credit risk and strategic leadership to drive risk initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

How you will contribute

  • Lead the development of the risk management strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives;
  • Oversee the preparation of risk reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and timeliness;
  • Provide insight on the organization’s risk profile through analysis and reporting of emerging risks, material risks, and risk concentrations;
  • Coordinate the ICAAP process, ensuring all risks are identified and assessed, ensuring that the institution maintains adequate capital to cover its risk profile;
  • Oversee stress testing activities to evaluate the impact of potential adverse scenarios on capital, liquidity, and profitability. Interpret stress test results and provide recommendations to enhance the institution’s resilience to risk exposures;
  • Develop and maintain policies and methodologies for calculating ECL in accordance with regulatory standards (e.g., IFRS 9);
  • Ensure that ECL estimates accurately reflect credit risk exposures;
  • Collaborate with finance and other departments to integrate ECL outputs into financial reporting;
  • Manage RWA calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards (including Internal Rating Based approach for credit risk capital adequacy);
  • Identify and implement opportunities for RWA optimization, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and capital efficiency;
  • Develop risk plans that support the organization’s growth strategies while maintaining risk within defined tolerance levels;
  • Contribute to the strategic planning process by advising on risk implications and integrating risk considerations into business planning;
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement;
  • Engage with senior management, regulators, and other key stakeholders to advocate for and communicate the organization’s risk position;
  • Ensure team members are ahead of regulatory changes and implement industry best practices to enhance risk management capabilities.

What will help you be successful

  • Education: Master’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., FRM, CFA, PRM) are a plus;
  • Experience: 10+ years in risk management, with significant experience in credit risk reporting, ICAAP, stress testing, and integrated risk management;
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of credit risk, risk modeling, ICAAP, RWA calculation, ECL policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., Basel III, IFRS 9);
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading and mentoring high-performing teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex risk data and present insights to senior management and stakeholders;
  • Regulatory Acumen: Deep knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards impacting credit and capital risk management;
  • Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated ability to align risk management objectives with organizational goals and drive strategy execution.
