How you will contribute

  • Play a key-role in Erste Group Research’s strategy by crafting and updating a diverse range of analytical reports that offer deep insights into Romania’s capital market. Your work will be reviewed and refined for distribution to our global clients, making you an essential part of Erste Group's portfolio of market analysis products;
  • Contribute to building, updating, and managing a robust database packed with financial and general insights on companies listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, as well as sectors represented (or with potential to be represented) on the BSE. Your work will be central to helping us track key industry trends and opportunities;
  • Develop insightful reports on the capital market for internal purposes, along with sector-specific reports that provide crucial insights across various fields. Your analysis will empower decision-making and enhance our understanding of industry dynamics;
  • Support internal and external clients by providing them with essential information, analyses, and targeted recommendations based on your area of expertise, adding real value to their decision-making processes.

What will help you be successful

  • Degree / Enrolment in MSc program in Economics/Finance;
  • Knowledge about financial markets (especially about the capital market) and about financial analysis (business evaluation, financial reporting standards);
  • Programming skills or mastering of an econometrics or statistics software package (e.g. R, Matlab, Eviews, Stata, Python etc) is a plus;
  • Experience in economic research, financial modeling, valuation methods or economic (mainly model based) forecasting is a plus;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Soft skills we are looking for: team player, good presentation skills, proactive attitude, highest degree of ethical and professional conduct, ability to adapt and learn quickly, to work under pressure, understand and explain complex issues.
