About our team

The Portfolio Support Specialist will be part of the Project Portfolio Governance Office, in Change Management Division.

How you will contribute


This role is an advocate of the BCR change management framework and an enabler for the day-to-day execution of strategic decisions taken by the organization. In this quality you will focus on achieving operational excellence by:

  • Ensuring decisions taken in regards to the portfolio are accurately documented and stored in the appropriate library;
  • Making sure progress of change the bank initiatives is accurately reflected in the operational tools (i.e. PPM, JIRA, etc.);
  • Aligning with relevant stakeholders in order to reconcile key details pertaining to budget execution;
  • Contribute to the continuous development and automation of the reporting practices at the portfolio level;


As part of your role, in your day to day you will:

  • Develop good knowledge of change management flows & regulations and the operational suite of tools in order to provide reliable knowledge and advice to stakeholders;
  • Develop good understanding of financial structure of approved initiatives in order to support the Projects Managers, Business Owners, IT Delivery Managers, Product Owners, and/or Scrum Masters with the execution of the approved budget;
  • Facilitate the reconciliation of key budget figures based on planned, committed and spent information available through-out the year and in line with reporting milestones aligned with PMO, IT, Accounting & Controlling stakeholders;
  • Apply strategic thinking and excellent presentation skills to structure details pertaining to portfolio evolution and build coherent and consistent story line when presenting to various management stakeholders in the organization;
  • Lead or contribute to team initiatives to improve the portfolio reporting capabilities;
  • Contribute to the adoption of agile practices within the organization;
  • Support your team and the organization by sharing best practices and actively contributing to the continuous development of the skillset, tools and processes & regulations used in the change management area;

What will help you be successful

  • Previous experience of minimum 2 years in banking and 1-2 years in other similar support roles (i.e. project officer, project controller, portfolio analyst, business/reporting analyst, procurement analyst, order management);
  • Previous exposure to projects with solid understanding of the entire project lifecycle;
  • Ability to work with high volume of information and data, being able to analyze, identify key insights and structure the information based on the needs to different stakeholders from individual contributors to senior management;
  • Advanced reporting skills and previous experience in working with reporting tools and/or executive management reporting;
  • Strategic thinking;
  • English – advanced;
  • IT skills – MS Office (Expert), Excel (Advanced), JIRA & Confluence (Basic), SAP, SQL, BI (Power BI/Cognos) and/or any other BI/data modelling tool (QlikView, Microstrategy, Tableau) are nice to have
