Your Role
As Risk Manager, in the Lending Risk Steering team, you play a key role in ensuring that risk data is accurate, consistent, and ready to support impactful decision-making. The role combines reporting, data extraction, and root cause analysis, giving you visibility into how risk is managed across the organization.
How you will contribute
- Ensure the reconciliation and validation of risk information, databases, and reports, ensuring their consistency with financial data, other internal reports, or information from BCR Data Warehouse;
- Perform MIS activities, data extractions, and data deliveries from BCR Data Warehouse in response to requests from the Risk Functional Line;
- Prepare portfolio reports/presentations, periodic and ad-hoc analyses for monitoring performance indicators and managing credit risk related to corporate clients;
- Provide support for business analysis and participates in the validation phase, including GO-LIVE acceptance, of implementations (systems, concepts, algorithms), reports/LDWH (BCR Data Warehouse) delivered by the IT Division that impact the data used within the Risk Functional Line;
- Participate in the automation of standard reports in Oracle/Databricks;
- Ensure the accuracy of risk data transmitted to the Group, collaborating with the IT Division through involvement in testing and business analysis activities.
What will help you be successful
- BSc or higher education (long-cycle): Economics and/or IT;
- Specific training courses in the banking and financial field and in data handling;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in banking;
- General knowledge of banking products and services;
- Economic and financial knowledge;
- Control and monitoring techniques;
- Risk management knowledge;
- Expert-level knowledge of SQL, Access, Excel etc.;
- Nice to have: Python;
- English language – advanced level.
