The Scrum Master is a servant leader who facilitates the Scrum process, ensuring the team effectively self-organizes and delivers value. By removing impediments and coaching the team on Agile principles, the Scrum Master creates an environment where the team can thrive.
How you will contribute
- Drives Agile transformation and coaching, promoting the implementation and adoption of Agile principles/ practices across the bank, ensuring consistency and alignment;
- Cultivates a high-performing Agile culture characterized by self-organization, transparency, continuous improvement, and continuous delivery;
- Leads the team in creating value, by closely collaborating with the Product Owner and the scrum team;
- Fosters a “user first” attitude and steers the teams to attain key results on previously agreed upon objectives;
- Collects and analyzes agile metrics, with a focus on improvement; identifies ways to increase effectiveness and improve time to market;
- Maintains clear and consistent communication channels and facilitates collaboration across teams to achieve organizational shared objectives;
- Proactively identifies and removes impediments to Agile adoption, including cultural and organizational barriers;
- Collaborates with the Agile Centre of Enablement members, to refine and document Agile standards and best practices, fostering continuous improvement;
- Strengthens Agile expertise company-wide by creating and delivering comprehensive training programs, thus enhancing teams’ true potential;
- Support organization specific governance and collaboration channels, for the benefit of the team, by fostering communication and transparency around the work items and working processes.
What will help you be successful
- Experienced Scrum Master with a deep understanding of Scrum principles and practices and min 3 years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master/ Agile PM role in complex projects and environments; SAFe® or PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner certifications are a plus;
- Expert in applying Scrum and Kanban frameworks at scale across distributed and co-located teams;
- Proven leadership skills in motivating and empowering teams to achieve results;
- Strong team-building abilities to foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships;
- Experience in delivering complex projects, planning skills, ability to manage multiple activities, being open-minded to experiment with new technologies;
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills to facilitate data-driven decisions;
- Experience in establishing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs);
- Proficiency in Jira and Confluence for efficient project management and collaboration;
- Excellent English language skills (verbal and written) for effective communication.
