Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join our IT Financial Markets team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills combined with in-depth knowledge of different financial instruments, trading systems, and regulatory requirements. You will play a critical role in implementing a new front-to-back treasury system and ensuring seamless integration with internet banking platforms, core-banking system and market data providers.

How you will contribute

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including traders, compliance managers, and back-office teams, to gather and document detailed functional and technical requirements for the new treasury system;
• Configure and customize the treasury system to meet business needs;
• Design and oversee system integrations with existing internal systems, such as core-banking system, internet banking platforms, other treasury systems, as well as external financial data providers;
• Support the data mapping and migration process, ensuring accurate and efficient transfer of data from legacy systems to the new treasury platform;
• Develop and execute comprehensive test cases, including unit, system, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate system functionality;
• Diagnose and contribute to address technical and functional issues during implementation, working closely with internal teams and vendors;
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including specifications, technical designs, test plans, and user manuals;
• Create and deliver training materials for end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure smooth system adoption.

What will help you be successful

• Strong skills in gathering requirements, documenting business processes, and translating business needs into technical specifications;
• Experience working with APIs (REST, SOAP) to integrate trading systems, market data, and other financial services. Very good understanding of YAML and JSON languages;
• Good knowledge of SQL and experience with at least one of the databases systems Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostGres databases for handling financial data sets;
• Understanding middleware technologies for systems integration;
• Experience with utilization of Postman (or similar) for API testing and troubleshooting;
• Experience with Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban) and related tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence);
• Awareness of DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus;
• Awareness of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and cybersecurity best practices is a plus;
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, trading systems, and instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives, forex, money market, commodities, etc.);
• Good understanding of order management systems (OMS) and execution management systems (post-trading systems);
• Understanding of pricing, valuation, and risk factors associated with financial instruments;
• Knowledge of data formats (e.g. FIX protocol, Swift format) and data management techniques;
• Understanding compliance requirements, trade reporting, and market surveillance. Awareness of financial regulations like MiFID II, EMIR, Basel III, and others;
• Familiarity with trading platforms (such as Bloomberg Terminal, Reuters Eikon) and front-to-back treasury systems (such as Avaloq, Jump, TCS) is a plus;
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills;
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
