How you will contribute

  • Coordinate and monitor the collection of operational risk events in the internal application;
  • Reconcile information from the OWL application with information from accounting/other available sources;
  • Participate in the regulation of the internal operational risk management framework, update the methodological framework, and recommend improvement measures;
  • Define, collect, and monitor operational risk indicators and perform scenarios regarding operational risk losses;
  • Provide support to functional entities in the self-assessment process of operational risks and propose measures to prevent/mitigate these risks;
  • Provide support in the risk assessment process related to outsourced activities;
  • Calculate risk-weighted assets for operational risk;
  • Identify operational risks associated with new products/processes/procedures and request that measures to limit them be included in the procedure/related workflows;
  • Coordinate and monitor the reporting of operational risks, as well as the centralized conclusion at the bank level of insurance policies for its own assets and for covering operational risks, for the BCR Group;
  • Facilitate and participate in the analysis of controls for operational risk events used by the Group as case studies.

What will help you be successful

  • BSc degree or higher - economic studies / background;
  • Minimum 3 years of banking experience – preferably in the operational risk management area;
  • Risk management knowledge (policies, procedures, etc.);
  • English - advanced;
  • Good accountability, a team player mindset and be willing to constantly improve in a very challenging business environment.
