How you will contribute

  • Ensure the coordination and controls the activity of the internal valuation experts and valuation admin team;
  • Establish the valuation principles of the assets proposed as collaterals by the bank’s clients;
  • Ensure the management and support of the external valuators approved by the bank, the training, selection and exclusion of external valuators;
  • Makes proposals for the approval of new external evaluators;
  • Prepares the annual budgets for the Valuation Management Office;
  • Monitors, in line with the bank’s requirements the valuations of assets proposed as collaterals by the bank's clients;
  • Ensures the fulfillment of key performance indicators set up by the management related to the activities within the team and its employees;
  • Ensure the coordination and control of the reporting activity related to the valuation management activity;
  • Ensure the improvement and administration of internal IT applications which supports the collateral valuation activity;
  • Implements the bank’s projects in order to cope with the new ESG requirements and digitalization targets of the banks in connection with the collateral valuation activity;
  • SPOC for the collateral valuation issues at Group level, towards regulators and auditors;
  • Ensures the smooth collaboration with all bank’s entities which uses the collateral valuation services especially with the internal collateral management team.

What will help you be successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economic, Legal, Technical or other speciality and improvement courses in the field of evaluation;
  • Experience in valuation activity - minimum 5 years;
  • ANEVAR certification, additional certifications is a plus (RICS);
  • Legislative knowledge for commercial companies in Romania;
  • Adapting and responding to change;
  • Effective time management and customer services;
  • Creativity and innovation;
  • Strong analytical and problems solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills;
  • English – advanced with acceptable knowledge of valuation and financial specific terms;
  • German knowledge is a plus;
  • Very good command of MS office package.
