Role Overview

The Senior Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) / Microsoft Azure platform is responsible for technical design, implementation, and operational support across BCR’s AD DS and Azure platform services, part of the ongoing framework of global standards in support of the company’s business and technical goals. You will contribute in designing and implementing AD DS upgrades, Microsoft Azure platform services management and support. 

How you will contribute

• Provide 2nd/3rd level support for Active Directory Domain Services  (AD DS), DNS, DHSCP, PKI;
• Provide 2nd/3rd level support for Microsoft Azure platform and ADFS, WAP;
• Good experience with designing and implementing AD DS, ADFS, WAP;
• Monitor trends and provide proactive solutions to common problems;
• Monitor system uptime availability and maintain the framework for new and existing applications, servers, and services that require monitoring at the enterprise level using System Center Operations Manager;
• Good experience of core Cloud Computing services;
• Understand the basic functioning of Networking, Databases, Software, and Servers in Azure platform;
• Provide escalation support to the IT Service Desk/Desktop support team;
• Coordinate ERSTE Group escalations by acting as a bridge between the ERSTE engineering resources and BCR;
• You will be part of on-call rotation and weekend activities when needed.

What will help you be successful

• Expertise in designing, configuring, supporting and maintaining Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS);
• Experience managing and troubleshooting WAP/ADFS, Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Entra Connect;
• Experience in Microsoft Azure platform, including Microsoft Entra Connect and ADFS/WAP;
• Excellent PowerShell skills to manage and automate AD DS and Microsoft Azure services;
• At least 4 years of experience in Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS);
• Working knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services including DNS, LDAP(s), AD LDS, GPO and DFS;
• Knowledge of MDM – Workspace ONE/Intune technologies is a plus;
• Ideally you have experience of other widely used industry technologies such as MS O365, SCCM, SCOM, Backup, PKI.
