About Us:

ČS Seed Starter is a corporate venture capital fund initiated by Česká spořitelna, a.s., dedicated to investing in promising startups and innovative projects that align with the bank’s strategic objectives. This program seeks to integrate new, scalable innovations that provide enhanced products and services to our customers.

What Your Role Will Involve:

• Legislative Monitoring: Actively monitor updates in Czech and EU laws, decrees, and regulations.
• Employee Training: Organize and conduct training on new internal processes and regulations.
• Management of Internal Regulations: Maintain an updated database of internal regulations reflecting legislative changes.
• Reporting: Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for internal needs.
• Compliance Checks: Conduct various compliance checks.
• Cooperation with Audit: Actively participate in external and internal audit checks and fulfill audit measures.

Ideal Candidate Should Have:

• Education: University degree, preferably in Law or Economics.
• Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of the regulatory and legal environment.
• Work Habits: Ability to learn quickly, attention to detail and problem solving skills, proactive approach and motivated to continue professional development.
• Experience: Experience with internal audit / compliance is a significant advantage.
• Communication and Analytical Skills: Excellent abilities in both areas.
• Computer Skills: Professional proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in Czech and English, both written and verbal.
