Senior Cloud Engineer (all humans)

What to do:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, AWS (preferred) and/or Azure.

• Collaborate with data engineers to support DataOps processes and ensure efficient data lifecycle management.

• Optimize cloud resources for performance, cost, and security.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management tasks.

• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues.

• Implement and manage network configurations, including firewall rules and security policies.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.

You check these boxes:

• Profound experience with Terraform, AWS (preferred) and/or Azure

• Strong understanding of the data lifecycle and experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.

• Proficiency in Linux.

• Strong understanding of network configurations, firewall rules, and security policies.

• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes.

• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English; knowledge of German (e.g. B2) is a plus.

Nice to have:

• Experience with other Cloud providers.

• Knowledge of Databricks on any hyperscaler.
