O nás
Banking has a name. We create it. 10 million people across Europe organise their personal finances with George. Where design meets technology, George stands out on an open platform. We invite you to develop this platform with us into the next dimension. We achieve this by empowering people to understand, manage and, last but not least, enjoy one of their most personal things: their money. Join us in our agile environment and make banking simple, intelligent and personal again!
What to do:
Others may see you as just a Developer, but we see you as a maestro of elegant, maintainable code that translates to a beautiful user experience. As an Android Developer for George, you will implement new features for the banking platform and when needed, change and extend existing features with refactoring. Your role is centre-stage to the overall delivery process, assisting business analysts in specking new features, and working hand-in-hand with the design team to help create the best possible user experience. You live by the mantra: clean code is king - and developing top-quality mobile apps is in your DNA.
You check these boxes:
- At least 4 years of experience in Android development within a dynamic Agile environment.

- Write comprehensive unit tests and integration tests following testing strategies.
- Develop complex UI screens with custom views and layouts with Jetpack Compose.
- Advanced knowledge of TeamCity, Refactoring, Linting, Dependency Injections, Build Tooling and Security Concepts.
- Experience with accessibility: from implementation to testing.
- Communication and leadership skills with the openness for feedback.
- Deep understanding of industry trends and best practices.
- Being open-minded, dedicated and passionate about what you do.
- Respecting the challenges that others deal with, while strive to help the team reach its goals and potential.
- Expressing your values and opinions and articulating them in fluent English.
