We are looking for an engaged and enthusiastic Java Backend Developer. Our team is cross-functional and involved in the ideation of features, from the conceptual and planning phases to the implementation and shipping of requirements.

What to do:

• Design, develop, deploy and operate a microservice architecture platform for corporate banking services with focus on high availability, scalability and low latency

• Build and maintain cloud-ready services on top of Oracle and PostgreSQL DBs

• Take operational responsibility for the services that are owned by your team in a DevOps manner

• Work in an environment that supports your individual growth

• Work with other software engineers, data analysts, and decision-makers, such as product owners, to build solutions and gain novel insights

You check these boxes:

• You are an awesome Software Engineer who is more than comfortable writing high quality and easily maintainable code in Java

• You are passionate about crafting clean code and have a steady foundation in coding and building large enterprise applications

• You have 3+ year of active recent experience with Spring, Spring Boot and Java/Jakarta Enterprise applications and you are familiar with the challenges that microservices bring

• You have recent active experience with designing and building distributed and scalable systems on Kubernetes/OpenShift in a DevOps manner

• You know and care about engineering practices like continuous delivery, defensive programming and automated testing

• You have professional experience working in a product-driven environment where you could identify yourself with the product

• A competitive and performance-related salary dependent on your professional and personal qualifications is granted - we are obliged by law to quote the minimum wage of EUR 3.200,- gross per month for this full time position.
