In the Credit Portfolio Steering team we monitor the development of Erste Group’s credit portfolio with a focus on corporate clients in Austria and CEE. Our mission: active portfolio steering, continuous improvement of data infrastructure, and driving digital efficiency. 
With a newly implemented data infrastructure for regulatory requirements, we can now leverage extensive datasets to enhance analysis and steering. We are looking for someone passionate about data, structured thinking, and precision—turning insights into impactful portfolio decisions. 

Your Tasks

• Develop and enhance the Group-wide Early Warning System (EWS) for corporate clients, including triggers, thresholds, and escalation paths 
• Translate macroeconomic developments into portfolio steering and EWS 
• Ensure timely risk escalation and promote EWS as a proactive risk management tool 
• Align with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards 
• Support audits and contribute to projects related to credit portfolio steering 

Your Profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in credit risk management (preferably risk reporting or modelling) 
• Technical know-how and interest in efficient solutions 
• Strong data analysis skills to identify patterns and trends 
• Solid understanding of credit risk management principles and macroeconomic impacts 
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex topics clearly to senior stakeholders 
• Fluent in English and German

• The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 49.772,80 gross per year. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
