The Cost Controlling department, embedded within Group Finance, acts as a Finance Business Partner with regard to cost development for Erste Bank Oesterreich, the Holding company, and its subsidiaries. The department is also responsible for regulatory outsourcing matters. One of its key functions is HR Controlling, which is responsible for personnel cost planning, regular reporting, KPI creation and monitoring, among other tasks. The team works closely with management and business partners to define shared (personnel cost) objectives in line with the company's strategic guidelines. Working within the team provides the opportunity to contribute to strategic goals and projects in an exciting environment that offers continuous development and growth.
Your Tasks
- Planning personnel costs in alignment with the Group's strategy
- Defining and monitoring KPIs, and supporting business units in achieving (HR) cost targets
- Regular reporting on personnel cost developments to top management and participation in strategically relevant projects
- Analyzing the current cost structure, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and maintaining ongoing communication with relevant stakeholders
- Continuously developing HR controlling, personnel cost management, and reporting processes (visualization and digitalization)
- Regular collaboration with departments such as Retail, Corporates, Risk Management, Controlling, HR Business Partners, and Top Management
Your Background
- Completed university degree with a focus on Controlling, Human Resources, Business Administration, or Business Law
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in HR Controlling or Payroll Accounting, ideally within the banking sector
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP (CO and/or SAP HR); Tableau knowledge is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of Austrian labor law
- Strong analytical skills, team spirit, commitment, and enjoyment of communicating with a variety of stakeholders
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills

- The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 51.336,00 gross per year. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
