Large Corporates (LC) represents the high performance client coverage team for national and international large corporates clientele within Erste Group Corporates & Capital Markets. The LC Team takes full responsibility for overall relationship management, business origination, global account management and group-wide risk/return for defined client groups with a turnover of EUR 50mn or more.
LC’s client service approach combines industry specialization within the Energy Sector for energy, utility and infrastructure clients with regional intelligence and product expertise in order to be in the position to act as a trusted advisor for and to enter into a continuous strategic dialogue with the client’s decision makers.
 

Your Tasks

  • Responsibility for defined tasks along the corporate and investment banking value chain of a leading regional bank in Austria and CEE
  • Work closely with the dynamics of the energy sector in order to identify and address client needs along with the ability to build relationships in a professional manner
  • Play an integral role within the core team & support the day-to-day client relationship management and deal origination and execution
  • Coordinate and prepare deal origination materials, credit applications and other supporting documents in the course of originating, structuring and executing deals, act as
  • Conduct fundamental energy industry research and quantitative analyses, as well as reviewing, monitoring and organizing financial data and developing qualitative analyses
  • Support the development of the bank’s industry expertise and business incl. knowledge management and internal and external network build-up
  • Contribute to target client analysis including evaluation of product use and potential
  • Evaluation of client & deal profitability within the given framework
  • Cooperate with product specialists, risk managers, colleagues of local banks  and other key professionals across the group to ensure information and deal execution efficiency and to foster group collaboration effectiveness
  • Liaise with the customer service, execution management and back office teams in order to insure smooth and timely implementation of transactions in the bank’s core systems

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree, Master's degree is of advantage
  • Responsible attitude with the ability to take pro-active initiative while acting in a most reliable and structured manner at the same time, with attention to details
  • Facilitate trust building and common sense, open minded & a communicative personality
  • Drive, enthusiasm, creativity and excellent interpersonal skills with a motivation to work as a team player in multidisciplinary and cross cultural transaction teams
  • Value-driven and sense for sustainable developments
  • Economic and political understanding, robust financial and analytical skill set; corporate finance know-how, including basic understanding of financial modelling and valuation is a plus
  • Commitment to provide outstanding client service
  • Strong interest in market developments, energy sector trends would be beneficial
  • Strong willingness to learn and share knowledge in a focused way
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and on-line presentation environments; experience with specific research and analysis tools such as Bloomberg is of advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English and in German

  • The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 43.554,-- gross per year. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
