The Strategic Projects team drives key initiatives that shape the future of Erste Group, directly reporting to Erste Groups Board. We work closely with senior stakeholders across all our markets and cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment and successful project execution across the organization.

Your Tasks

• As AI & Investment Strategy Intern, you will play a key role in driving high impact, cross company initiatives 
• You will work closely with Strategic Project Leads to shape, coordinate, and execute strategic programs that directly influence business priorities and long-term value creation in the field of AI & Investments 
• You will take ownership of research and analysis that inform strategic decisions, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities to strengthen project outcomes.  
• You will support the development of value propositions, project concepts, and strategic narratives, ensuring that complex ideas are translated into clear, compelling deliverables for senior leadership 
• You will collaborate with the top Management of Erste Group, working together with teams across IT and our subsidiary banks in CEE, helping maintain strategic alignment, resolving operational challenges, and ensuring smooth execution

Your Background

• Ongoing studies at University/University of Applied Sciences with a background in Business Administration, International Management, IT, or a related field 
• Deep understanding of GenAI, its potential for banks - specifically in the area of investments 
• Pro-active supporter eager to improve the organization's effectiveness and performance, with a strong enthusiasm to learn 
• Good communication skills and fluent in English; knowledge of one or more CEE languages is a plus 
• Skilled in MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
