Department Description

As Private Markets Division we act as a reliable, strategic, and long-term partner for our investment targets as well as our investors across the subverticals of private markets: private equity, venture and growth capital, infrastructure and private debt. In our role of private markets specialists, we advise and enable institutions such as pension funds and insurance companies, foundations, family offices and private investors to participate in a growing, profitable, and locally impacting ecosystem. To achieve our goals, we design, advise and manage investment solutions such as private market funds, fund of funds for institutional clients, Private Markets ELTIFs for a broad investor base as well as individually tailored private markets mandates.

 

Our investment team is composed of highly experienced professionals with an outstanding local as well as international track record. Our expertise and deep knowledge of private markets is a result of a long history in the investment industry with a focus on venture capital, growth equity,buy-out, infrastructure and private debt as well as innovative and tailor-made revenue-based finance solutions and globally diversified private markets multi-asset strategies.

Your Tasks

  • Analyst/Associate in the Private Markets Funds Team
  • Member of the Private Markets Fund of Funds Investment Team
  • Work together with colleagues along the investment decision process
  • Support team in deal flow generation and due diligence of potential target funds (primaries and secondaries) and co-investments including documentation
  • Coordinate due diligence processes
  • Preparation of transactions, coordinating internal and external parties
  • Ongoing portfolio monitoring and reporting incl preparation of internal and client-facing reports and related documents
  • Supporting new product initiatives aimed at institutional or private clients
  • Ongoing market research and preparation of marketing materials
  • Organizational tasks, ongoing record-keeping and updating of CRM system

Your Background

  • Excellent educational background and a university degree in finance, business, law, mathematics or similar with a study focus on banking & finance, corporate finance or investment banking
  • Strong interest for the private markets industry and knowledge of its key characteristics
  • Good quantitative capabilities combined with a high willingness and ability to learn quickly with a strong attention to detail
  • First working experience or internships in asset management, private equity or investment banking or related advisory is a plus
  • Business fluent in English and German
  • Self-motivated personality used to work in a competitive environment
  • Team player and business oriented openminded thinker
