For our subsidiary Impact Asset Management GmbH we are looking for a Junior Fund Manager.
The EAM Investment Division develops, manages, and monitors investment solutions for the major asset classes Equities, Fixed Income, Multi Asset Management and Responsible Investments.
Are you a passionate individual with a keen interest in Financial Markets looking to join Erste Asset Management's Multi Asset Management team?
As part of the Investment Division, the Multi Asset Management team is responsible for the asset allocation of Erste AM and manages multi asset funds, quantitative equity funds as well as alternative investment funds.
As a Junior Multi-Asset Fund Manager, you will play a key role in navigating global financial markets, contributing to the management of diversified portfolios that span all asset classes through both cash and derivative instruments. Your responsibilities will be central to identifying and executing high-potential investment opportunities across a broad spectrum of markets.
You’ll apply your strong analytical acumen and creative problem-solving skills to navigate complex market dynamics, while implementing advanced risk management strategies. Your tasks
- design, develop, and maintain quantitative models and tools to support investment decision-making across all liquid asset classes and instruments
- support the execution and implementation of investment strategies in alignment with portfolio objectives
- implement investment decisions across a wide range of instruments - including cash and derivatives - and asset classes such as equities, rates, credit, foreign exchange, and commodities
- conduct ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) analysis to promote sustainable and responsible investing practices
- contribute to the creation of pitch materials, media communications, and publications for both internal stakeholders and external clients
- continuously develop your investment skill set, including idea generation, financial analysis, presentation, decision-making, and performance monitoring
- enhance your communication abilities across all facets of investment management, with the goal of becoming a trusted, client-facing representative of the firm
Your background
- a university degree with a focus in economics, finance, business administration, mathematics, physics, statistics or life sciences
- a high level of passion for capital markets and a growth mindset, allowing you to contribute positively to the company's investment initiatives
- German language skills with at least a B1 level of proficiency, with an aim to improve to a higher proficiency, at a minimum C1 level, within two years
- must be fluent in English, able to communicate effectively with a diverse set of individuals
- person who thrives within a strong team culture and contributes to its continuous improvement
- a thinker outside the box, able to combine street smarts with a curious beginner's mindset, continuously learning and growing
- possess high analytical capabilities and attention to detail, preferably sound programming skills, specifically in R, R Shiny and/or Python, and able to apply quantitative and analytical skills in the workplace
- strong presentation and communication skills
