Loan Agency at Erste Group Bank acts as hub between borrowers and lenders throughout the life time of a syndicated loan or similar structured transactions with several lenders/ finance parties involved.

Your Tasks

  • Focus on execution of corporate finance, leverage, project finance, syndicated and other loans
  • Coordinate and support full process of closing & execution through successful implementation to post-closing activities (CPs and CSs) of syndicated loans
  • Act as a trouble-shooter for deal management related problems
  • Cooperate with corporates, project and structured finance teams and other internal stakeholder as well as external legal counsel on a deal by deal basis
  • Enable flawless execution, enhance overall client experience and ensure service delivery to clients and syndicate of banks
  • Provide input into pitches with regards to potential mandates
  • Review commercial term sheets, legal documents as required on by product desks for agency mandates
  • Monitor & distribute periodic information undertakings based on legal and other requirements

Your Background

  • 10+ years working experience in Corporate Banking and knowledge of commercial and investment banking products
  • Extensive network within loan syndication area with access to senior decision makers
  • Strong negotiation, sales and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build trusting working relationships, strong team player
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, lead multi-party negotiations & cross functional deal-teams
  • You are committed, dedicated and reliable and show the willingness to go the extra mile as deal flow dictates
  • Attention to detail, time management and problem solving skills are essential
  • Advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel, Word and PowerPoint/Bloomberg/Reuters and main Loan Markets info providers
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German; other European languages are of advantage

  • The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 55.176,52 gross per year. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
