The Para Legal will assist in managing and recording the minutes of corporate body meetings, provide support to the Management and Supervisory Boards, supervise compliance in Corporate Governance and Fit & Proper issues, and help ensure the validity and roll-out of internal policies across the Group.
This position is limited for a period of 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Fit & Proper Office and Support of Savings Banks:
- Assist in the submission of applications for potential future members of the Management and Supervisory Boards and maintain all respective duties related to the Fit & Proper process
- Supervise and maintain records of conflicts of interest, gender rates, annual Finrep-interrogation and and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for the members of the Management and Supervisory Boards
- Cooperate with Sparkassenverband, especially on Corporate Governance and Fit & Proper issues
- Policy Management:
- Assist in supervising and updating internal policies, such as the Suitability Policy
- Roll-out revised policies according to the Policy Framework
- Support the implementation process of policies in subsidiaries and savings banks
- Corporate Body Meetings Management:
- Prepare and distribute documents, record minutes, and follow up on unresolved issues
- Draft own and review of Management applications
- Help prepare and submit Management Board requests on various issues
- Provide ad-hoc organizational and legal support to the Management and Supervisory Boards
Requirements
- University degree in legal and/or economic studies
- First experience in company law, banking, finance, or similar fields
- Basic knowledge in corporate, banking, and stock exchange law
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Digital literacy
- Fluent in German and English
